The New Mexico Bull Fiesta is more than an event — it’s a celebration of Western grit, family roots, and the spirit of the Southwest. Held every Memorial Day Weekend in the breathtaking mountains of Angel Fire, New Mexico, the Fiesta brings together locals, visitors, and rodeo fans from across the region for a two-day showcase of world-class bull riding, music, food, vendors, and community pride.
Founded by Nancy Burch, a living legend and longtime resident of Angel Fire, the Bull Fiesta was born out of passion, perseverance, and a desire to give something meaningful back to the community. With decades of history behind her in horseback tours, sleigh rides, and cowboy hospitality through her company Roadrunner Tours, Nancy’s vision turned into a movement — and the Bull Fiesta was born.
The very first Fiesta was held in 2024 and became an instant success. Now, with the launch of NMBullFiesta.com and the formation of the New Mexico Bull Fiesta Rodeo Association, we’re turning this powerful weekend into a lasting Western tradition for generations to come.
One of the greatest legends in bull riding history — Bushwacker — was in Angel Fire, New Mexico, for last year’s New Mexico Bull Fiesta. And The Whitley Bulls are coming Back for 2025!
